About WorkUnstuck
WorkUnstuck exists to help businesses eliminate repetitive computer work. Choosing the right technical solution starts with understanding how the work is actually performed, what the employee is trying to accomplish, and where the friction really occurs.
The answer may be automation, a browser tool, an integration, a spreadsheet improvement, an internal application, custom software—or a better use of what the business already has.
What the software does
What the person needs
Programming + operations experience
Programming is only half the job. Understanding the process is the other half.
The founder’s background spans decades of building software and supporting the people who use it: hand-written HTML before visual editors existed, then PHP and WordPress development for a roster of small-business clients, alongside years of technical and operations support.
More recently that work has been inside a larger organization—internal dashboards that consolidate data from several business systems into one view, scheduled scripts that monitor, report, and move files without anyone watching them, and search tools that make buried operational records findable by the people who need them.
Build and understand technology

Practical software built around the result the business actually needsThe value is not the list of disciplines. It is the habit they require: look at what the software is doing, listen to what the person using it is trying to accomplish, and find the practical gap between the two. Tools and languages change constantly; the ability to read a solution and judge whether it will hold up does not.
That preference for small, durable solutions is not a slogan. After years of building and maintaining WordPress sites for small-business clients, the maintenance weight outgrew the value—so the answer was a lighter tool: an editor that lets a business owner update a fast, plain HTML site directly, with no CMS platform or database server to keep patched. The same instinct applies to automation. The right solution is usually the smallest one that keeps working after you stop looking at it.
Start with how the work actually happens
Requirements often describe how a process is supposed to work. A walkthrough can reveal the extra steps employees use to make it work in practice.
Those details matter because the duplicate entry, browser workaround, spreadsheet bridge, manual check, recurring report, or undocumented exception may be the real opportunity.
For Central Valley businesses, that review can happen in person when useful. It can also happen remotely through screen sharing, recordings, examples, and a step-by-step walkthrough.

Technology comes after understanding
WorkUnstuck does not begin by forcing every workflow into one platform or technology. The current process, constraints, exceptions, and desired result determine the tool.
Possible tools—not predetermined answers
Existing software
Keep the system that already handles its jobExisting workflow
Preserve the parts employees already rely onKeep what works
Many businesses do not need to replace their existing software.
A useful solution may be much smaller: connect two systems, remove duplicate entry, automate one spreadsheet routine, add a focused internal utility, simplify browser steps, prepare a recurring report, or surface only the information that needs attention.
The objective is practical improvement—not more technology for its own sake.
Good automation knows where to stop
Automation is useful when it handles predictable work and makes the important decisions easier to see—not when it hides judgment or removes appropriate control.

A practical way to start
You do not need to design an architecture, understand APIs, choose an automation platform, or know what software should be built. Start by showing WorkUnstuck the repetitive task.
Walk through the current steps, systems, exceptions, and result.
We identify the friction and decide whether custom work is justified.
We create the smallest practical solution the workflow needs.
Your team spends less time maintaining unnecessary repetition.
